About 'calories in milk'|Temptation of the Week: Aspartame in milk
It's just a little Snickers, right? So I don't mind if I have just one fun size candy bar- well, make it two. There's not enough calories in a fun size treat to warrant worrying about calories. So most of us think. Take a look at the caloric content of our favorite treats- just because they come in fun size packets doesn't mean they don't add a ton of not-so-fun size calories to your diet! Here are the most popular fun size candy treats and their amount in calories. Enjoy... A single fun size Snickers is 72 calories. That much in 2 bites of chocolate? Sheesh! Likewise, a fun size Butterfinger is 100 calories, Reeses Peanut Butter Cup is 80 calories (a single butter cup is 80 calories?! Wow!), and a fun size Almond Joy (a fave of mine) is 91 calories! That Snickers is looking better and better... A fun size Hershey bar is nearly 67 calories, Whoppers are 100 calories, Milky Way (mmm) is 76 calories, M&M's are 90 calories in their fun size form (peanut ones are 93 calories so just go for peanut), a Babe Ruth is 85 calories, Take 5 is 105 calories (and I love these too), and even a 3 Muskateers is almost 64 calories for a fun size bite or 2. These snacks may be a bit on the high side for about 2 bites (maybe 3) of heaven, but not all fun size candy is loaded with calories. Some are 50 calories or less in fun size form: Peppermint Patty is 47 calories, a small baggie of Jelly Bellys is 35 calories (and like 12 jelly beans, but who's counting?), Nerds are 50 calories, Milk Duds are 40 calories (but you get like 3 of them), Mike and Ike's are 50 calories, and if you love Sweetarts, then you're in luck- a regular roll of this treat is 10 calories! Woo hoo! So, keep in mind when you eat your treat fun size that you're better off limiting yourself to one- maybe two. But you'll probably be more likely to stop at one treat once you realize that the treat may be tiny, but the calories aren't. note: these are the fun size treats, not to be confused with the miniatures. Fun size are considerably larger than the one-bite miniatures. Just want to make that clear. Source: http://www.fitsugar.com/Calories-Halloween-Candy-Fun-Size-Treats-5452936 |
